General Foods & Habits:

Eat warm, cooked, nurturing foods
Avoid cold, raw foods – if you drink smoothies do not add ice! You can add grilled, warm veggies and protein to salads if you must eat them…
Consume more nuts and seeds (especially black sesame, chia)
Avoid spicy and pungent foods
Decrease all processed foods – try to make your foods and not consume food from a box
Avoid alcohol, coffee and smoking
See if gluten is an issue – sometimes eliminating it can be very beneficial

Day 1-14

Increase:
whole grains
high protein foods – organic eggs, organic meat, and beans
bone broth, hearty stews

Avoid:
Cold, raw foods, especially icy ones
Sushi, uncooked veggies, salad, tomatoes, watermelon, cucumbers, strawberries, tofu, bananas, soy milk, kiwi fruit, ice cream, cold beverages
Sour foods
Citrus

Day 15-28

Increase:
Dark leafy greens – spinach, kale, chard
Dark pigment berries: pomegranate, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, goji berries, mulberries

Avoid:
Same as above
